  • Each print format requires its own ISBN.

  • Authors who choose publication on both platforms will be required to pay an additional fee.
  • Manuscripts exceeding 60,000 words are subject to an additional fee per 1,000 words.
  • Official copyright registration is the responsibility of the author and may be completed independently or submitted by CRH Press & Co. on the author’s behalf. Applicable government filing fees apply.
  • Website listings and Instagram features are provided for visibility only and do not guarantee sales, rankings, reviews, or engagement.
  • CRH Press & Co. does not take any portion of the author’s book royalties. Authors retain 100% of their royalties.

Children’s books require a custom publishing approach, as costs and timelines vary significantly based on illustration needs, page count, and production requirements.

Custom Project-Based Pricing

Children’s book publishing is not offered at a flat rate.
Each project is reviewed individually and priced based on factors such as:
  • Total page count
  • Number of illustrations required
  • Whether the author already has an illustrator
  • Illustration style and complexity
  • Interior layout requirements
  • Print specifications (trim size, color, paper type)
  • Publishing platform(s)
Because illustration costs and production scope vary widely, pricing is determined after a project evaluation.

Illustration Support

Authors may:

  • Work with their own illustrator.
  • Request that CRH Press & Co. source an illustrator for the project
Illustration services are quoted separately and are dependent on availability, style, and project scope.

Publishing Setup (Available After Review)

Depending on the project, services may include:

  • Professional formatting for print and/or eBook
  • Cover design
  • ISBN assignment (where required)
  • Publishing setup on Amazon KDP or IngramSpark
  • Guidance through the children’s book publishing process
